A good friday trip to Bintan - Loola resort. with 4 avid 'bridge' fanatics. ;D
It was a great trip. Though the place kind of fell short of our expectations, and the drive to the resort from the ferry terminal was nervy, the scenery off the ‘mangrove swap’ (which I was told later) was fantastic. Had a full night of bridge and vodka which the whole resort knew about. The trip out to the sea was great, jumping off the top deck of the boat into the cargo net, experiencing how fish feels in a net, doing the flying fox, guessing which direction the camp fire will end up, waking up not early enough to catch the sunrise, and lastly without knowing that we were (supposed to be)rushing to catch the ferry back home.
It’s always the people factor that matters the most and not the environment. So, it is definitely a trip to remember. ;D
