It just went by so quickly that, it gets dark earlier and earlier now. Missed those long days.... and it will mark the end of summer soon...
well, guess, i am posting, just for the sake that one day, if i do lose my memories, i do know what i have done in my life. Maybe too many things had happened in the last 2 months that right now, things don't matter to me anymore. Just getting by each day and see how things will end. Guess this can only happen when one just give up on fighting and hoping for things.
Also realized that, as compared to previously, I hadn't been snapping away these days.

But, oh well, don't get me wrong.. it's not that I am unhappy... it's just that i am just getting along by with life.

So, during these 2 months I had:
1) Moved to my current place, and i guess, i do like living by myself and I like my place.
2) Burnt monies by taking exams that I never did study for
3) Seen Coldplay once again!!!!
4) Seen Russell Peters.. again..
5) Eaten many All-you-can-eat Japanese and Singapore/Malayisan buffet
6) Seen the Richmond night market (totally disappointing)
7) Cycled at stanley park after work :) (Love it - not around yet, as always, when halfway through, some unfortunate event will happen, and have to turn back)
8) Went for hikes - Conquered Eagle bluffs and Diez Vistas.. (beautiful)
9) Become more Canadian -> BBQ every other day and celebrated Canada Day.
10) Tried watching some Indian show at Stanley park, but totally failed, as couldn't see the subtitles on the screen.
11) at least set foot at Coquitlam, PoCo, Burnaby, Richmond, North Van, West Van, Port Moody
12) Test-drove many cars... (Jeep and Volks is tied at the top of the list)
13) "Crossed" the bridge many times, aka went out of Downtown.
14) Mostly importantly, grown up, and understand that in this world, no one will be kind enuf to extend a helping hand, or be ard. So, to survive, it's all down to working things out on your own.


5 Jul 09 (Sunday):
Emily came to town.. so we headed to Tropika on Robson for dinner..

Sunday afternoon: Biking in my old "hood" - Yaletown.. and hung out a while after biking at the Vancouver Jazz Festival at David Lam.

Jul 4 2009: Diez Vistas (Buntzen Lake)

Instead of driving to US for cheap sales, we decided to be healthy and drove to Port Moody to do this long long trail.... We were all tired.. very tired.. (Photos bottom up)

1 Jul 2009 - Canada Day / BBQ day...
Wanted to have a BBQ at my place.. ended up, having it at Maison's.

We had been having BBQ every other day these days.. :D So fun...

Started the afternoon at Canada Place, headed for early dinner of BBQ.. walked to see the Canada Day Parade.. and waited along Coal Harbour for the Fireworks..

Jun 28 2009 - Eagle Bluff

Eagle Bluff which is at West vancouver.

Headed up Black mt, which pple ski in Winter...

Will def be back in 6 mths time to ski down that mt.. . :D

So, meanwhile, we hiked up the mt.. and walked to Eagle Bluff... and down the mt..

It was beautiful. :D

For the month of June, after work, I had cycled at Stanley park several times. It's such a great feeling.. will have to make it one rd before summer ends...
